MEP BIM Coordinator

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
๐Ÿ“Œ BIM Model Development & Coordination:
๐Ÿ”น Manage and coordinate BIM models for MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
๐Ÿ”น Ensure accurate integration with architectural and structural models.
๐Ÿ”น Perform clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks, Solibri, ACC, or Revizto.
๐Ÿ”น Guarantee MEP models are clash-free and comply with project specifications and industry standards.
๐Ÿ“Œ MEP Design & Simulation:
๐Ÿ”น Develop and coordinate MEP design models, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks.
๐Ÿ”น Use BIM tools such as Revit MEP, Trane Trace, or Carrier HAP for system simulation and analysis.
๐Ÿ”น Develop and coordinate BIM models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
๐Ÿ”น Utilize tools like Revit MEP, ETAP, or AutoCAD Electrical for electrical system simulation and analysis.
๐Ÿ”น Collaborate with MEP design teams to incorporate design changes and ensure accurate representation in BIM models.

Qualifications & Skills:
๐Ÿ”ธ Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
๐Ÿ”ธ Minimum of 3 years of experience in the AEC industry, focusing on MEP systems.
๐Ÿ”ธ Proficiency in BIM tools like Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
๐Ÿ”ธ Advanced knowledge of MEP system design (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
๐Ÿ”ธ Experience with interoperability tools like Solibri and familiarity with 4D/5D simulations using Synchro Pro or Vico Office.
๐Ÿ”ธ Knowledge of Python, Dynamo, and point cloud data integration is a plus.
๐Ÿ”ธ Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
